Ready to make a high school student feel like Cinderella or Prince Charming?
The Stockton San Joaquin County Public library will be hosting prom/formal attire GIVEAWAYS at four locations in March and April, and all prom and formal goers will be invited!

Thanks to our friends at Project Princess, the library has secured over 1200 new prom dresses! But in order to make this a true fairy tale day, the library needs help from you!

Here is what we need from our Fairy Godparents:
If you have any new or gently used attire or accessories you are willing to part with, all library locations will be accepting donations from January 15th until February 15th.
If you have shoes, accessories, mens attire, you are willing to part with, we will accept it! We ask that clothing attire donated please be clean and free of stains.
Baseball by the Book
Wednesday, Feb. 5
From Jan. 13 - Feb. 21 read for 30 minutes a day (2.5 hours a week) or read 5 books a week to win 2 free tickets to a Stockton Ports baseball game and to join us for an on field parade!
This reading challenge is for kids k-8th grade (Ages: 5-13).
Pick up your reading log at Troke Library.

Black History Month

Celebrate Black History Month with some crafts at the Tracy Library that teach about influential Black Americans. Ideal for 6-12.

Prom Drive Donations

We are looking for gently used formal wear and accessories such as suits, jewelry, shoes, clutches, and more for our upcoming Prom Drive Giveaway.

Any donations can be dropped off at the library any open days.
VITA Tax Preparation

Free tax return assistance from VITA, (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance), by appointment only. Appointments are held on Wednesdays, between 1-4 pm beginning February 5 and end on April 2. Please call for more information, (209) 937-8221.

Ages 10+. Visit our collaborative work space for making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools. These spaces help provide access for learning critical skills in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). Use our rotating collection of electronic kits, 3D printers, coding robots, fabric, jewelry supplies, and more. Every other Wednesday from 4:00-5:00pm.

Yoga and Pilates for

Beginner's level Yoga and Pilates will help you relax and renew your body and spirit!
