Join us on Thursday, January 25th from 5:30-7:30 p.m.  We will be having a Hand Painted Signs Program.  We have invited The Cluttered Owl, from Brookston, to come and host a program, at the Rensselaer Library.  The Cluttered Owl offers a wide variety of practical and unique hand painted wooden signs.  The signs are available in a variety of shapes and sizes and range from $25-$45.  If you would like to register for the program, you must go to their website https://the-cluttered-owl.myshopify.com   and review the design options, for the size you want.  Stop by the Rensselaer library to pay for your sign (CASH Only) and fill out the form, with your design choice. You MUST pay and be pre-registered, to come to the program and participate.  Limit 18.  Registration ends Friday, January 19th, so that the signs can be prepared for the program.  Contact Melissa Smith at (219) 866-5881, with any questions or www.myjcpl.org/events

“Yoga With Rob” will be offered weekly at the Wheatfield Library during the months of January & February. Adults are invited to join us each Saturday morning, January 20-February 24 from 9:15-10 am. Free and open to adults, this weekly exercise class is taught by Robert Arroyo.

The year is 1940, and World War II is raging on all over Europe. In Belgium, the British Empire, and France, soldiers are cut off from escape, surrounded by the German armies on all sides of the beach. Help seems out of reach, but just as hopelessness sets in, an unexpected rescue appears by way of evacuation from certain death for over 300, 000 soldiers in the next Morning Movie Presentation, free and open to all interested adults at the Wheatfield Library. Slated to be held on Thursday, January 25 @ 10 am, this true life story of heroism is rated PG-13 and features Fionn Whitehead and Damien Bonnard.
