Under the Sea Scavenger Hunt

All Children ages Pre-school to 12 yrs old stop by the Rensselaer Library and see why “The seaweed is always greener, in somebody else’s lake…” Under the sea is the theme for April at the Rensselaer Library, and during the entire month, we invite children of all ages to hunt for sea creatures that are hiding throughout the library. During random days and times throughout the month, check every nook and cranny of the library, and whoever is lucky enough to find a sea creature lurking in its hiding place within the library will win a prize! Tuesday, April 22nd at 5-6:00 p.m. ages 7-12.    The fateful trip of the Titanic on April 15, 1912 has captured our interest for over 100 years. The Rensselaer Library invites children and teens ages 7-12  to venture into the history of that fateful day as we explore the facts of the Titanic’s maiden voyage, learning about the frigid water temperatures, the passengers on board and what they must have thought and felt as the iceberg that they hit changed the course of their lives forever.
